Fancy Nancy 9” Ballerina by Madame Alexander is the fanciest ballerina to ever do an arabesque. Nancy, with her hot pink, orange and tan twisted yarn pigtails, has a gold metallic fun crown that is adorned with orange embroidery, stitched onto the front of her head. This cloth doll is dressed as all ballerinas are in a leotard and a tulle tutu. Nothing like typical ballerinas, Nancy’s leotard is violet Lycra with thin violet spaghetti straps. It has also been embellished with very small polka dots that have been ironed on, to provide texture. Lavender tulle, gathered ruffles embrace the spaghetti straps. Each of which is decorated with a pink rosette at the point where the strap meets the leotard. The tutu, two layers of gathered pink tulle, has been sprinkled with silver polka dots.
